Sweat Pants and Heels

Green Sweat Pants - Forever 21
Heels- Jeffrey Campbell
Fuzzy Scarf - ASOS
So everything that is not listed above was thrifted.

I felt like I should have been mountain climbing in this outfit. Except there is no way I could ever even imagine it in my Jeffrey Campbells. Zachary and I went to the bluff to take these photos. We were racing against the sun for light, but they turned out great. I think I made him nervous standing so close to the edge in heels but I can handle myself, haha.

This denim shirt came from a local thrift store....I'm guessing....I can't really remember which one it came from. Oh well.
I paired wooden and brown jewelry to give the outfit more of an earthy woodsy feel.

My best friend sent me a shirt.

Teal Shirt- H&M
Black Jeans- Forever 21
Black Button Up- H&M

I was having the worst day ever when I came home from work one day and had a package. I opened it to find this adorable shirt and a letter from my best friend that lives a couple of hours away. I loved it so much that the second Zach came over I handed him my camera and we went to shoot.
It's very different from everything else I have, but it's perfect. The bow gives it the perfect feminine touch that I always seem to lack. I can't wait to pair it with shorts this summer! Thanks Macy!

(sorry this post is actually late. it's from 02-28-13)

Poison Ivy

Red Boots- $10.00
Cheetah Leggings- $2.00
Ann Taylor Cardigan- $15.00
Black Button Up- $2.00

My entire outfit cost about 30 bucks. Bargain shopping gives me such a thrill. I would go every day if I could. Who could pass up a $2.00 pair of cheetah leggings???The sun was so harsh today. After going to three different spots, we decided to just use the side of an old abandoned gas station because it was shaded from the sun.

Anyways, today has been very relaxed. We got in late from a hockey game last night, so a lazy homework day was needed.

So, yeah. Blogging, homework, editing, playing with cats, coffee, and The Oscars later. It's a good day.

Bleachers.

**I apologize to everyone for the lack of posts lately. Especially my mom because she is probably my only reader.**

So...sad news. I ripped the tights. I'm going to have to get another pair ASAP! I loved wearing them. They were cute and edgy. The perfect combo for leather or sweaters. They also went well with my hockey jersey for Saturday night games. Oh well...

Anyways, my ASOS dress came from.....UNCLAIMED BAGAGE(local thrifty place) and was a total of 15 bucks. How awesome is that? My leather jacket??? Forever 21. It cost 5 bucks. Yeah, it was a half off clearance sale that I just happened to be at. Oh, and the tights... STORENVY.com. I think they came from China, they were 10 bucks. So thats $30.00 for the outfit. Yeah.

Btw guys, hockey is fantastic and I'll be writing a post on it soon. I have one saved in my drafts from like two weeks ago but I've been busy with school and work so I've barely had time to do anything other than sleep and breathe.

Down on Main Street

Blue Hi-Lo Dress- Francesca's
Steve Madden Bag- Thrifted
Woven Cardigan- Thrifted
Black Leather Heels- Thrifted

Tonight, Zachary and I went to hear to my fathers band play at a local bar. It's called Main Street Deli. It gets sort of crazy and wild, but we don't drink so we sit there and laugh at the people who do.

These photos were taken at midnight so excuse the dark lighting. Our little town has the cutest downtown area which makes a perfect innocent backdrop for photo shoots. Since I live in North Alabama, it was 70 degrees today. This fact makes me angry. Cold weather is my favorite. I'm a little upset because we haven't had a winter at all. I'm starting to wonder if we will have one at all. Maybe we will....maybe we will have a blizzard.....

Well, that's all I have to say.

I went to a random wedding.

VELVET HEADBAND, American Apparel-$1.00
BLACK LACE DRESS, Thrifted-$8.00
BLACK BIKER COTTON JACKET, Thrifed-$2.00
BLACK LEATHER ANKLE BOOTS, Thrifted-$35.00

GRAND TOTAL= $46.00

Today I attended Zach's cousins wedding who married one of his good friends. It was so random because I didn't even know about it until last night. So when he said "Do you want to go to a wedding tomorrow?" I automatically started scheming up my outfit.

This little number was perfect. Since it was freezing while we were shooting, I could only manage one photo of the lace on the dress. After that I quickly put my jacket back on. Once we got inside the church it was warm enough to go without it.

It's been a little over three weeks since I had my breast reduction surgery (I will be writing a post on the surgery very soon), and I am proud to say that this is the first backless or "see through back" dress I have ever been able to wear. I loved it. I felt elegant and sexy for the first time.

My dress and the jacket were both thrift finds. The velvet headband is from American Apparel, but I only paid $1.00 for it with the tags still on it at my all time favorite store, Unclaimed Baggage. The boots were also from Unclaimed. Have I mentioned how much I love that place?

Started by a Rumor

This is Zachary.

Yeah. This is my boyfriend, best friend, companion, driver, co-photographer, & love. A typical day with us usually involves talking about super heros, watching some form of the 29 tv shows we have started and have yet to finish, eating candy, meowing....., writing, drinking coffee, playing cards, visiting Unclaimed Baggage, and going on photography adventures. We are pretty much the same person. Have you ever heard of a perfect relationship? No? Well we have one.

We first met during the summer of 2010. I was a Sophomore at a local junior college, and he was a Freshmen. I was at the college from 7am-10pm everyday. I opened the college coffee shop, where he would stop by for coffee and innocent flirting. After work I would go to classes from 11-5, and then at 5 I would make my way to theater practice, where he was on scholarship. So lets just say we seen each other everyday. After I graduated, I stayed with my job at the coffee shop and he still had a year of school to go until he transferred.

In the spring of 2012, after almost two years of making goggly eyes at each other, we both participated in our theater departments production of Fiddle on the Roof. He was Perchick and I was Grandmother Tzeitel (yes, I was a dead old woman). Our group of friends in the theater started this whole "#rumortuesday" thing on twitter. So obviously a rumor got "started" that we were dating/serenading each other/whatever else people could say to make us come together. This led to us flirting over text messages and on our breaks at practice. About a week or so later, the rumor was true.

Now I'm sitting here on his bed blogging and he's standing at his mirror writing movie ideas on it. He has now transferred to a college that is 2 hours away and comes home every week. He is majoring in mass communication with a minor in film. I'm majoring in graphic design and minoring in marketing.
We might just take over the world together.
As long as I'm with him, bring it on.
