Barely Fall

Sweater: GAP
Shirt: ZARA
Bag: Steve Madden
Scarf: H&M

I have neglected my blog lately. Juggling six classes and a full time job is about to make me go insane, but it's days like today that keeps me still here.
My outfit is basically begging for the Alabama heat to go away. I am that girl that is wearing sweat shirts in June, so no, I'm not too hot in a sweater and layers in October....Even though it's still 75 degrees.

down by the bay

Green Jacket - Zara
Tan Boots - Big Budda
Dress - Thrifted
Scarf - Thrifted

Wearing a dress when it's windy is never a good idea. Zachary and I had to take photos of my sister's senior prom day. We snuck off to a local dock and snapped some photos of the sights in the middle of the crazy day.
She had a great prom, from what I could tell....she was still asleep this morning so I didn't get to talk to her much.
She went with her best friend, Payne. The two of them made beautiful photos.

See how beautiful they are??? I'm so proud of her.
(awwwww)

I'm in love with this sweater. Oh yeah, and I have new hair. I decided to tone down the bright red and go to a dark burgundy. I will totally miss the bight tho. RIP.

Bleachers.

**I apologize to everyone for the lack of posts lately. Especially my mom because she is probably my only reader.**

So...sad news. I ripped the tights. I'm going to have to get another pair ASAP! I loved wearing them. They were cute and edgy. The perfect combo for leather or sweaters. They also went well with my hockey jersey for Saturday night games. Oh well...

Anyways, my ASOS dress came from.....UNCLAIMED BAGAGE(local thrifty place) and was a total of 15 bucks. How awesome is that? My leather jacket??? Forever 21. It cost 5 bucks. Yeah, it was a half off clearance sale that I just happened to be at. Oh, and the tights... STORENVY.com. I think they came from China, they were 10 bucks. So thats $30.00 for the outfit. Yeah.

Btw guys, hockey is fantastic and I'll be writing a post on it soon. I have one saved in my drafts from like two weeks ago but I've been busy with school and work so I've barely had time to do anything other than sleep and breathe.

Art Exhibit.

Grey Shirt- Thrifted
Sun Scarf- Thrifted
Steve Madden Bag- Christmas
Teal Skinnies- H&M
Leather Booties- Thrifted

Yesterday my sculpting class got to go to an artists sculpture exhibit. It was about three hours from where I live so we woke up and left at 6:30 in the morning.
The artist took everyday things from life (candy wrapper, twigs, orange peels, ect.) and turned them into small, unique, pieces of art. It really opened my eyes to unique art. I would love to see more art that was as different as these pieces.

Here are a few more fantastic photos from my day.

As you can see, my sister went with me. And we didn't eat very healthy.

CHICTOPIA

I just freaked out a little. My outfit post made it to the front of the CHICTOPIA page today! I think that it possible made my day. I needed something good to happen because this head ache of mine doesn't seem to want to go away. Well, I hope everyone is having as good of a day as me! WEEEEE!!!

Stepping on Nuts.

Dress-ASOS
Jacket-ZARA
Shoes-JEFFREY CAMPBELL

I have had a LOOKBOOK account for almost 3 years now and I've never had an outfit post I've been proud of until now. I'm still not 100% happy with it because our lighting was terrible, but it's a good step up from what I've had in the past. I barely posted looks because I never had a tripod or anyone to take my photo. And when I would get someone to take it for me I felt awkward which as a result, gave me awkward photos. Now that I am a photographer and my boyfriend has also gotten into taking photos with me. We have photographed lots of sessions together, from weddings to babies. So now we can go out and take the kind of photographs I've always wanted to have. I don't feel awkward around him, so it kinda just works. Look forward to seeing more of what is hanging in my closet.
