Illustrations, coffee, and Birmingham

Today, I went to college with Zachary. Since I'm finished for the semester and he only had to go to class one day this week, I got to live the day like a UAB student.

I had Starbucks. (mmmmm)

I walked past amazing buildings on campus.

And we even got to do a mini fashion shoot with my phone.

Purple Shirt - Gap
Grey Cardigan - LOFT (old)
Black Leggings - H&M (ripped by me)
Black Sandals - TEVA

This outfit was absolutely perfect for today. I was comfy and felt cute. However, it was a little hot in the cardigan. I just wish it would stay cold forever but I guess that's what I get for living in Alabama.
I love my ripped leggings tho. Since I accidentally ripped them with a buckle on a pair of boots, I decided to rip them a little more. With time they should look really distressed. (woot)

Anyways, as for the rest of the day, this is what I did:

This is my newest illustration. Since Zach had to be in classes, I sat in a cafe on campus and got creative. I'm insanely proud of her. Isn't she beautiful?
She needs a name. Help :)

my little sister's senior photos

How awesome are these senior portraits? She wanted to go for the city feel, so we traveled to Birmingham and went to various spots in the city. It's such a beautiful place. We were exploring at night and we came across a street that almost looked abandoned. It had a cobble stone road and all of these unique buildings and businesses.

Since she is happy with her photos, so am I. I think these are the best portraits I have done since I started doing photography. The fact that her eyes are the prettiest blue color I've ever seen helps out quite a bit also.

I am so proud of her. She only has about a month left of high school and she's off to college where she gets to face the world one essay paper at a time. Our family couldn't be more proud of her.
